Polaroid Gallery
These images are from an early series using Polaroid SX-70 film without a camera or lens. The film was manipulated using heat, pressure, and controlled light sources. In some instances, the images were cut and objects added to them.
Once created, the resulting piece was photographed using a 4X5 camera, and the final pieces were printed oversized first with color photography paper and later using light-fast inks.
Today, these pieces can be ordered in 26″ X 34″ light-fast print sizes. There are also canvas print options in sizes up to 50″ X 66″.
